From
1980 until 1997 our group worked at Tbilisi State Puppet Theatre.
It has taken part in international festivals held in Berlin, Mistelbach
(Austria), Edinburgh, Madrid, etc.
Due to the difficulties experienced in the aftermath of the collapse
of the Soviet Union (no power, audience, salaries), we decided to
leave the theatre.
In March 1999 we created the Puppeteers Club, a non-governmental organization
aimed at the promotion and popularization of the art of puppetry,
protection of artistic rights and expression of modernity problems.

The group has 12 members who have worked together for 22 years now
(sometimes we cannot bear each other any more). Every member of the
Club participates in the creative process.
